Meet the Author

Kristen Page is the director of women’s ministry at her local church in Manhattan, Kansas, where she has served since 2018. Kristen has been homeschooling her two daughters since 2020 and is the elementary director for her homeschool co-op. Before having children, Kristen received her master’s in counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and worked as a licensed professional counselor in Wichita, Kansas. While in Wichita, she also volunteered her time teaching church members biblical counseling skills to help them sit with and support fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Kristen has been married to her husband Michael since 2010. Michael is her sweetest blessing, fellow brother in Christ, and avid board gamer. Family game nights are one of their favorite days of the week.

Today, Kristen’s training in professional counseling has prepared her for the monotonous moments of teaching her daughters, leading and discipling women in her church, and relying on and relishing in God’s presence to find fullness of joy no matter life’s circumstance. Writing has become an outlet for sharing the tools and techniques God has equipped her with as she lives life on mission where God has her planted.

Inspiration Behind her Logo

A.W. Tozer, one of her favorite authors, shares in The Pursuit of God:

“This book is a modest attempt to aid God’s hungry children so to find Him. Nothing here is new except in the sense that it is a discovery which my own heart has made of spiritual realities most delightful and wonderful to me. Others before me have gone much farther into these holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large it is yet real, and there may be those who can light their candle at its flame.”

This quote is Kristen’s inspiration and motivation to pursue writing and speaking. She too offers her flame of faith in God’s all-satisfying love for those desiring to light their candle.
